RECRUITING PROCESS
Initial screening is conducted of potential candidates. The candidates are pre-qualified or disqualified on the basis of in-depth telephone conversations, resumes and references. Our consultants place emphasis on assessing professional credentials, reputation, key motivational factors, and employer/employee compatibility based on the long-term goals and expectations of both parties. Only candidates that meet the stringent criteria initially set forth are presented to the candidate via resume, compensation information and an analysis of each candidate's comparative strengths and weaknesses.
Conducting References
Prior to our client extending an offer, we complete final reference checking by talking in depth with references who have first-hand knowledge of the final candidate's professional accomplishments and management style.
The Offer
Although the actual offer presentation is one of the last steps of a successful placement, the actual negotiation is an ongoing process that begins from the search's first day. We are constantly advising our client companies on the market dynamics of compensation for the targeted skill set. At the same time, we are working with potential candidates to understand their expectations and aligning those expectations with the financial resources of the client. Throughout the process, potential issues and challenges on both sides are uncovered and addressed.
The resulting effect is that last minute negotiations are kept to a minimum.
Moving Forward
The candidates placed by our consultants serve as the single best representative of Westwood + Wilshire. We place a high value on maintaining contact with our placed candidates to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. |
